About Global Rewinds Pty Ltd
Global Rewinds is a privately owned Western Australian company with over 35 years experience in it's field.
Global Rewinds' major strength is derived from its approach to teamwork, flexibility by means of prioritization and its proven ability to plan ahead.
Our primary function is the repair, rewind and overhaul of A.C. and D.C. rotating machines, submersible pumps, transformers, generators and electro magnets handling work from fractional horsepower to 3000kW.
Our large modern workshop in Bibra Lake is equipped with adequate overhead crane capacity, balancing machines, large capacity lathe and other facilities, enabling us to offer a seven day a week service with a minimum turn around and down time.
Our standard of workmanship is of the highest level, with rewinds being provided with a twelve month warranty. We use high-temperature class insulation, high-grade copper, and quality epoxy paints and sealants. Bearings are installed using induction heating technology.
Global Rewinds has full-time technicians providing site preventative maintenance and industrial installations across Perth and regional Western Australia.
Our Capabilities
AC & DC Machinery
We handle all types of AC and DC rotating machines — 3-phase and single-phase motors, DC motors, locomotive machines, crane and hoist motors, fan and pump motors, marine grade, and hazardous area motors.
Transformers & Generators
Design, repair, and manufacture of transformers from small control units to large high-voltage power distribution models. Generator repair and rewind for sets from 2kVA to 3000kVA.
Workshop Equipment
Overhead crane capacity, balancing machines, large-capacity lathes, drying and varnishing ovens up to 12.5 tonnes, automatic parts washing systems, and advanced testing equipment.
Our Promise

Bearings are fitted with an induction bearing heater, reducing shock and damage on bearings when fitting.
